Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

1. Find a job (as an artist)

3. LOSE WEIGHT!! (about 20 kilos)
4. Find a hobby (already am pumping weight and am looking for a Kenpo dojo near home)
5. Learn more Japanese (especially kana, and practice it with anyone who wants to.)
6. Procrastination must DIE.
7. Make preparations to move to another country in 2010.
8. Avoid any kind of "chain" that might keep me from moving.
9. Retake the G3Pen project and release some manga, as well as my first Illustration Book featuring all team members from the tournament (from my manga).

XD Gahhh! slow down man! I don't know katakana at all! (I can't even spell Naruto in katakana, even though it's right there in the title lol)

gimme some time...meanwhile! I actually took Japanese classes once a week for a few months with a Japanese teacher at a nearby college. It starts out pretty simplistic, but this is pretty much what I learned from. It's pretty cool since my sensei was involved in producing this series lol

awesome!!! thanks a lot!! I took 3 classes with a Japanese teacher, but then she wanted me to start paying and I decided to stop going, LOL!!! I learned EVERYTHING by my own without realizing I was learning

Too many japanese movies and anime lol. Katakana is my weak spot at the moment, I know nothing!! I have to use my katakana abc's lol
