The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Both fighters are ready after a small warmup. Klahan performs the Wai Khru Ram Muay traditinal dance. Kagero strips out of her clothings. The gong sounds and the fight starts.

Klahan takes the initiative by adopting a defensive stance. Kagero doesn't move.

Klahan cat walks forward. Kagero takes a defensive stance.

Klahan gets in fighting range with Kagero. Kagero waits.

Klahan sends a straight punch at Kagero. Kagero evades easily and with amazing speed, she didn't seem to move.

*Klahan is confused*

Kagero performs Special Move: Combo!! Begins with a punch to the face, it hits easily! CRITICAL HIT!!! (dmg 10 / 41HP) Klahan's right eyelid is cut! combo continues with a kick to the face, Klahan is unable to cover in time and gets hit, CRITICAL HIT!!! (dmg 7 / 34HP) Klahan's right cheekbone is cut open! combo ends with an elbow to Klahan's face, Klahan blocks in time (dmg 1 / 33HP).

*Klahan is not confused anymore*
*Klahan is bruised*

Klahan steps back.

Kagero follows.

Klahan performs Special Move: Kick Combo!! Begins with a low roundhouse kick to Kagero's thigh, misses! Kagero evades with no effort, the combo follows a second low roundhouse kick to the other thigh, Kagero tries to evade but can't and gets hit barely (dmg 9 / 23HP). Combo ends with an axe heel kick to Kagero's shoulder, Kagero evades with ease.

Kagero jumps up high, and descends with a kick at high speed. Klahan blocks (dmg 2 / 31HP). The floor cracks where Klahan is standing.

Klahan rolls and is now behind Kagero. Kagero doesn't hear Klahan's move because of the floor cracking noise.

*Kagero is confused*
*Kagero is defenseless*

Kagero focuses and performs Special Move: Shadow Clone!! a clone of Kagero appears.

*Klahan is confused*

Klahan attacks from the back, and throws a kick to the neck of one of the Kagero's. Klahan's kick connects the Real Kagero (dmg 14 / 9HP).

*Klahan is not confused anymore*
*Kagero is not confused anymore*
*Kagero is not defenseless anymore*

Kagero tries to grab Klahan. She has him! Kagero's clone grabs Klahan as well.

*Klahan is restrained*

Klahan tries to break free using his strength. The Real Kagero can't hold Klahan anymore and releases him. Kagero's clone remains holding Klahan.

*Klahan is not restrained anymore*
*Klahan is tired*

Kagero attempts to grab Klahan again. She has him! Kagero's clone keeps the hold.

*Klahan is restrained*

Klahan tries to break free using his strength again. Both Kagero's struggle but keep the hold this time.

Kagero performs Special Move: Kunoichi Dance!! Kagero and her clone hug Klahan strongly from the front and the back (lucky him?) and jump high up to the air, they descend head first in spinning motion. Just when they are about to hit the ground, Kagero and her clone release Klahan and land properly, him taking the full damage of the spinning fall. CRITICAL HIT!!! (dmg 19 / 12HP). Klahan's head is cut open and bleeding bad. (hope having 4 boobs around him was worth the damage, OUCH!, lol)

*Klahan is staggered*
*Klahan is stunned*
*Klahan is on the ground*
*Kagero can't keep her clone active and it poofs away* (i hate naruto, but still am hearing the sound in my head)

Klahan tries to get up. Kagero does nothing to prevent it. Klahan is getting up very slowly, but falls on his knee, he makes an extra effort to get up... he is up!

Kagero stands still.

Klahan runs towards Kagero.

Kagero tries to kick low to catch Klahan legs. But Klahan steps to the side to avoid Kagero's kick.

Klahan performs Special Move: Kick Combo!! Starting with a power roundhouse kick to Kagero's knee, Kagero evades just in time, followed by a front kick to the face, Kagero evades, ending with a diagonal kick to Kagero's ribs, Kagero can't evade in time and gets hit (dmg 8 / 1HP)

Kagero throws a knee at Klahan's body. Klahan evades PERFECTLY, leaving Kagero open for a counter attack. Klahan raises his knee high to reach Kagero's face. Kagero makes an extra effort to evade. Klahan's knee makes contact with Kagero's chin! (dmg 4 / 0HP)

*Kagero's legs tremble and she collapses to the ground while Klahan kneels and sits next to her in exhaustion, hoping the fight is over. Kagero remains immovable*

Kagero is unconscious!! The Winner from this fight: KLAHAN!!!
